Viet Hoa Restaurant

We were approached by Viet Hoa Restaurant, a popular Vietnamese Restaurant in Northbridge, who have been serving customers for almost 30 years, and who have never had a website. A quick meeting at their restaurant revealed that they wanted a simple, casual site that highlighted their family-friendly service, and made it easy for customers to find their menu (they get several phone calls each day asking for a copy of their menu).

GeekSalt arranged for a professional photographer to visit the restaurant a few days after our initial meeting, and the staff at Viet Hoa helped to prepare some of their most popular dishes, such as Pho Tai, Pork with Broken Rice and Stuffed Chicken Wings, for the camera.

Once the photographs were available, GeekSalt immediately started the graphic design process, and were able to show the owners of Viet Hoa three fantastic designs by the end of the second week. GeekSalt also updated the details for Viet Hoa on various restaurant portals, including MenuLog and yourRestaurants, and took over management of their listing on Google Maps.

The owners of Viet Hoa Restaurant were surprised to learn that their website, which at this point was a simple "coming soon" page, had been viewed over 1,500 times in a single week, and that their listing on Google Maps had been displayed in Google search results almost 800 times in the same period. After seeing the implementation of their website, they did not hesitate in approving it to be launched, allowing GeekSalt to get their site online almost a week ahead of schedule.
